connection 3*60 Ampere (3 phase) domestic (shared and
non shared connection)

Non
shared connection: non-shared connection is given
with the use of 3 phase cable for a house or building
for living which consist of one flour in this case a
small board fits for one 3 phase meter will be
installed.

Shared connection: main board fits for a
group of 3 phase meters should be installed. The board
will be fed from the main network through 3 phase
cables. This will be applied on flats in many stores
buildings or towers.
What is required from the applicant:
1- fill
up the required application.
2- Copy
of customer's identification card.
3- Paying
the fee for the site inspection visit.
4- Provide
a document from the office of justice that the applicant
will comply with paying the monthly electricity
bill.
5- if
the applicant is not attending its compulsory to provide
authorization from the court in the name of the person
who is applying on behalf of the customer.
6- Attach
the drawing of the house of the building in which will
be connected to the electricity.
Preliminary procedures (after the
initial acceptance)
a. site
inspection
b. examine
the feeding transformer and the outside electrical
network, if its possible to connect new customer on the
network feeding the area , if its technically allowed to
connect and after the approval of GEDCo's management ,
the customer will be asked to bring no objection from
the relevant municipalities.
Final Procedures
-
After the fee for the
site inspection is collected , the technical visit
for checks from an engineer of the customer service
section will be undertaken , the checks will include
testing the inside house installation and the
main board , the mention parts will be checked
against the standards applied within GEDCo, after
the checks are done GEDCo will grant the required
service and collect the fee according to the applied
system.

After collecting the
fee it will be asked from the customer to bring new
meter , the meter will be checked and sealed by
GEDCo , after that it will be installed and connect
the customer to the network.
