كهرباء غزة تساهم في توفير مواد كهربائية لتشغيل آبار مياه بحي التفاح لدعم وصول المياه للسكان
في استجابة لاحتياج مائي متزايد في منطقة التفاح الغربي، ساهمت شركة توزيع كهرباء محافظات غزة، بناءً على طلب لجنة الحي بالمنطقة ومناشدات عدد من المواطنين، في توفير كابل كهربائي للمساعدة في تشغيل عدد من آبار المياه، بما يدعم وصول المياه إلى المواطنين وتوفير أحد أهم احتياجاتهم الأساسية.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة في ظل تفاقم أزمة المياه في المنطقة، خاصة مع توقف آبار الصفا التي كانت تغذي سكان التفاح الغربي بالمياه، الأمر الذي زاد من الحاجة إلى تشغيل مصادر مياه بديلة.
وتستفيد الآبار المستهدفة من مصادر طاقة بديلة ومتاحة في المنطقة لتوفير التغذية اللازمة لتشغيلها وضخ المياه للسكان.
وتؤكد الشركة أن هذه المساهمة تأتي انطلاقًا من دورها المجتمعي ومسؤوليتها تجاه المواطنين، وحرصها على تسخير إمكاناتها الفنية المتاحة لدعم الخدمات الحيوية والاستجابة للاحتياجات الإنسانية والطارئة رغم شح الامكانيات، لا سيما تلك المرتبطة بالمياه والصحة والحياة اليومية للمواطنين.
In Response to the Water Needs in the Area
GEDCo contributes electrical equipment to operate water wells in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood to support water access for residents
In response to growing water needs in the western Al-Tuffah neighborhood, the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company—at the request of the neighborhood committee and following appeals from a number of residents—provided an electrical cable to help operate several water wells, thereby supporting water access for residents and meeting one of their most basic needs.
This step comes amid a worsening water crisis in the area, particularly following the shutdown of the Al-Safa wells that had been supplying water to residents of West Al-Tuffah, which has increased the need to operate alternative water sources.
The targeted wells utilize alternative energy sources available in the area to provide the power needed to operate them and pump water to residents.
GEDCo emphasizes that this contribution stems from its social role and responsibility toward citizens, as well as its commitment to harnessing its available technical capabilities to support vital services and respond to humanitarian and emergency needs—despite limited resources—particularly those related to water, health, and the daily lives of citizens.
